As Technical Lead, you will be instrumental in ensuring the platform remains reliable, innovative, and capable of supporting future business growth.\nIf you are collaborative, curious, self-driven, and passionate about technology, we would love to hear from you.\nYour future duties and responsibilities\nAs Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the technical direction and delivery of our IFS Cloud platform and related enterprise applications.\nTechnical Leadership & Architecture\nLead the technical design, development, and continuous improvement of the IFS Cloud platform.\nReview, approve, and govern technical designs, customizations, extensions, and code quality.\nEstablish and enforce development standards, documentation practices, and technical governance.\nProvide technical leadership and mentoring to developers, consultants, and solution architects.\nEnsure all customizations and enhancements follow upgrade-safe and sustainable design principles.\nManage and govern user access across systems, ensuring appropriate authorization levels, compliance with segregation of duties requirements, and adherence to security standards.\nPlatform Development & Enhancements\nLead the development of IFS customizations, Aurena pages, projections, custom pages, reports, and document solutions.\nSupport system configuration, enhancements, upgrades, and implementation of new functionality.\nEvaluate existing solutions and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and innovation.\nEnsure solutions align with both business requirements and long-term platform strategy.\nIntegration & Enterprise Connectivity\nOwn the planning, design, and implementation of integrations between IFS Cloud and enterprise systems, including CRM, maintenance, logistics, financial, and third-party applications.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and technical solutions.\nEnsure integrations are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.\nRelease Management & Platform Operations\nDesign and execute application deployment and release strategies with minimal business disruption.\nOversee development, testing, build, and production environments.\nManage deployment pipelines, build processes, version control, and release governance.\nMonitor platform performance, reliability, and stability while driving continuous improvements.\nProvide technical support and guidance during development, testing, and deployment activities.\nBusiness Partnership & Vendor Management\nWork closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, improve processes, and deliver business value.\nCollaborate with solution architects and provide direction to external vendors responsible for development and support activities.\nParticipate in evaluating and assuring the quality of technical solution proposals.\nAct as a trusted advisor for technical capabilities, architecture decisions, and ERP roadmap initiatives.\nQualifications and skills we are looking for\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.\nExtensive experience with IFS Applications and/or IFS Cloud. Minimum 10+ years of experience.\nStrong knowledge of enterprise application architecture, integrations, and ERP ecosystems.\nExperience leading technical teams and guiding developers across complex initiatives.\nExpertise in IFS customizations, extensions, reporting, and deployment processes.\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle, DevOps principles, and release management.\nExcellent business process understanding combined with strong technical capabilities.\nProven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nAbility to communicate effectively across business and technical communities and build strong stakeholder relationships.\nHighly structured, proactive, and solution-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset.\nExcellent written and spoken English communication skills.\nPersonal characteristics\nTechnology-driven and passionate about innovation.\nCurious and eager to learn new technologies and share knowledge with others.\nCollaborative team player who thrives in a global environment.\nSelf-motivated and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.\nCommitted to delivering high-quality solutions that create business value.\nWhat we offer\nAt Wilhelmsen, you will join a highly competent ERP organization at the center of a major business transformation.
