We strive to create an environment where we can all be our best and bring our whole selves to work, where rare characters thrive.\nThe Role\nWe are looking for an Area Manager to build the William Grant & Sons portfolio through distribution, activation and increased visibility of our products in trade in Sydney CBD & Eastern Suburbs. We are looking for business and brand builders who are focused on our key customers across a mix of the on-premise and off-premise channels, striving to add value and form strong and enduring business relationships across the network. As a key member of the wider team, you will deliver sales and profit targets for the territory within budget while building and enhancing the WG&S portfolio through distribution, activation and visibility. Regularly manage monthly reporting, expenses and general admin requirements using our CRM system.\nMain Responsibility\nAccountabilities\nDeliver sales and profit targets for a territory within budget, executing pricing strategies. \nBuild and enhance the WG&S portfolio through Distribution, Activation & Visibility. \nNegotiate additional promotions & displays at a store level to increase share of space and visibility of WG&S brands. \nManage a set call cycle effectively to maximise productivity covering key customers locally and regionally ensuring real time data is recorded and maintained via the company’s’ Customer Relation Management system. \nCompletes and submits all reporting, expenses, Customer Relations Management and admin requirements within deadlines. \nCompile a monthly report detailing achievements, market intelligence, challenges and work plan, sharing achievements with the broader business including photos, best practice etc. via monthly reports. \nManages trade/brand spend and operating costs in line with budget and operational guidelines. \nProvides tailored proposals/recommendations to drive new opportunities for customers and the portfolio. \nActivates and analyses promotion/activation activity and shares information/learning’s across the business, proactively reporting on competitor activity and market intelligence.\nOur Ideal Candidate\nAbout You\nPrevious experience working in a similar role with a strong background in sales\nPrevious experience working in premium spirits (ideal, but not essential)\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, confident and fun approach\nSelf-motivated and focused on achieving goals\nMid-level brand development and activation experience is highly desirable\nAbility to build and nurture key relationships\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and manage stakeholder expectations\nAbility to work collaboratively across the team and independently\nPrevious experience using a CRM system\nValid Driver's license and current RSA is essential\nAustralian work rights are required for this position\nWe value every employee for their rare character, distinctive skills, experience and perspectives.
