We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Data International team in Kraków, where you'll play a key role in developing, maintaining and enhancing our central data warehouse and cloud data platforms.\nWorking alongside local and international colleagues, you'll help deliver reliable data solutions, support business-critical systems and contribute to the evolution of modern cloud-based data platforms using technologies including SQL Server, AWS, Snowflake and Apache Airflow.\nWhat you will be doing:\nLead the delivery of complex data warehouse enhancements, from requirements analysis through to deployment and post-release validation. \nDesign, develop and maintain T-SQL code, data integrations and ETL processes that ensure accuracy, performance and reliability. \nSupport and optimise production data systems, investigating incidents and implementing long-term improvements. \nParticipate in an on-call rota, taking ownership of troubleshooting, recovery activities and stakeholder communication. \nMonitor and enhance data processing, operational procedures and platform performance. \nAssess technical risks, plan deployments and ensure changes can be released safely and efficiently. \nReview technical designs and mentor other engineers, helping to share knowledge and engineering best practices. \nCollaborate with analysts, architects and engineering teams to deliver scalable, business-focused data solutions.\nWho we are looking for:\nWe are committed to responsible gambling, and we are looking for people who can support our ethos. To apply to this post, you will have:\nSignificant experience developing and supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL and SSIS. \nExpertise in SQL performance optimisation, ETL development, data modelling and troubleshooting production data environments. \nExperience with software engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, version control and technical documentation. \nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently on complex challenges and collaborate effectively across teams.
