May be required to perform duties during periods of inclement weather conditions for extended periods of time.\n\nThis position has been designated as essential and may require reporting to work when the university is officially closed.\n\nThis is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position will require overtime to include scheduled and unscheduled nights and weekends and possibly holidays.\n\nThis is a restricted position subject to the availability of funding.\n\nJob Duties:\n50% - Field and Facility Preparation:\nThis position will assist with the maintenance and necessary preparations of athletic facilities and fields for practices, sporting and non-sporting events.\n\nWill perform semi-skilled tasks, such as event setup and breakdown.\n\n20% - Facility Maintenance:\nThis position will help keep department facilities maintained to a safe, acceptable level through inspection, light repairs, and preventative maintenance. Report all issues and violations to supervisor.\n\n15% - Custodial:\nThis position will perform custodial services of department facilities, including locker rooms, bathrooms, showers, playing areas, bleachers, and vacuuming.\n\n5% - Equipment Operation and Maintenance:\nThis position will ensure all department equipment is properly inspected, used, maintained, serviced, and repaired.\n\nMaintain and conform to all safety protocols.\n\nOperate all equipment in manner in which designed.\n\n10% - Other duties as assigned by supervisor:\nThis position will have other duties assigned outside of normal duties to support the department.
