Confidence in presentation-making and the ability to work independently and as a team leader are also vital in this role!\nResponsibilities/Expectations:\nAccounts for a diverse range of sophisticated assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and judgment\nMay supervise the work of others\nDemonstrates technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function and applies specialized knowledge in the effective completion of large-scope projects\nPrepares and delivers presentations\nAnticipates internal/external customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies solutions\nInterprets internal/external business challenges and improves products, processes or services\nCollaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs\nChampions processes, procedures and safety standards\nMonitors and controls costs and resources associated with projects\nServes as a primary engineering resource for assigned natural gas treating, compression, and related facilities, maintaining strong knowledge of facility performance, equipment, reliability concerns, and technical risks\nProvides technical leadership for complex or recurring facility issues and independently develop solutions through alternatives evaluation, technical and economic analysis, design basis development, and implementation planning \nIdentifies broader facility risks, recurring problems, constraints, and improvement opportunities and help prioritize engineering needs based on safety, reliability, operational, and business considerations\nProvides technical direction to consultants, vendors, and contractors while serving as a technical resource and mentor to developing engineers\nOther duties as assigned\nEducation/Years of Experience:\nRequired: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; and a minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry\nOther Requirements:\nDemonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills\nProficiency in engineering specialties covering more than one subject area\nPreferred: Project Management experience\nPreferred: Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS or ProMax)\nWe invest in our people in ways that actually show up in your day-to-day, not just on paper.
