We are responsible for the design, deployment, and operation of this storage platform, which supports the research workloads of our Researchers, and is therefore a core component of infrastructure.\nWorking alongside our global team, you will optimize and troubleshoot workflows alongside our Researchers and Software Engineers, Our involvement extends to optimization and troubleshooting of workflows, working with Researchers and Software Engineers daily, as well as our Networks team and external vendors, including DELL, VAST, HPE and, RUBRIK.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and manage multi-PB storage systems to support the compute environment\n\nImplement automated processes and procedures consistent with a strategy of Infrastructure-as-code for a consistent, repeatable storage product\n\nLeverage experience and expertise across all things storage related to act as an expert for a wide array of projects\n\nWork with customers to streamline workflows for optimal storage usage\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience\n\nExperience deploying and managing high-performance and/or clustered filesystems at scale\n\nStrong working knowledge of the different types of data center storage technologies (file, block, object) and how they differ\n\nTeam player that enjoys collaborating with others to deliver supportable storage environments\n\nExperience with scale-out storage architectures such as Vast Data and Isilon/PowerScale\n\nRecent experience working through JIRA tickets\n\nGreat problem solving skills, be self-driven, and hard working\n\nA passion for technology and hardware\n\nPython and/or DevOps experience\n\nIt is impossible to list every requirement for, or responsibility of, any position.
