Mentoring team mates, solving sophisticated problems efficiently, and attention to detail are keys to success in this role!\nResponsibilities/Expectations:\nPerforms complex maintenance and operational tasks with all natural gas process related equipment and systems\nMinimizes unplanned shutdowns through root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions\nPartners with supervisors and managers to share findings, root causes, and resolutions to with a focus on improved safety\nFixes and maintains process control systems\nPartners with projects managers to define scope and instrumentation specifications for new projects\nServes as the subject matter expert for instrumentation, electrical, PLC, and control systems across assigned facilities or operating areas\nDevelops and implements solutions for complex control system, instrumentation, and electrical issues to improve safety, reliability, and operational efficiency\nLeads major system upgrades, control system integrations, and commissioning efforts while ensuring adherence to technical standards and best practices\nMentors technicians and drives continuous improvement initiatives related to instrumentation, electrical, and automation systems\nOther duties as assigned\nEducation/Years of Experience:\nRequired: High School Diploma/GED and minimum of three (3) years' experience in operations, engineering, or the energy industry\nPreferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree and minimum five (5) years' experience in operations, engineering, or the energy industry\nPreferred: Five (5) years of Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) experience, including instrumentation troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance, with experience performing low-voltage electrical work in an industrial environment\nPreferred: Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems, including programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics, with the ability to support and maintain automated control systems\nWe welcome candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experiences - if you don’t meet every qualification, this role may be filled at a level that aligns with your skills and growth potential\nPhysical and Environment Work Requirements:\nThe ability to:\nWork in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces\nCarry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed\nStand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time\nWork at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)\nUse hand tools\nShift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:\nAvailable to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holiday as the need arises\nMay be required to work overtime and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays\nOther Requirements:\nMust possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record\nDemonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes\nDemonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority\nNeeds basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills\nPrevious experience working in an environment with gas-plant operations, gas compression and/or liquid or gas gathering processes\nPrevious experience in the mechanical, electrical, and/or maintenance industry\n#LI-KK1We invest in our people in ways that actually show up in your day-to-day, not just on paper.
