A desire to learn, dedication to safety, and attention to detail are keys to success in this role!\nResponsibilities/Expectations:\nPerforms maintenance and operational tasks with all natural gas process related equipment and systems\nMinimizes unplanned shutdowns through participating in root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions with a focus on improving safety\nInitiates and completes work orders and requisitions and maintains all records and documents as needed\nPerforms instrumentation troubleshooting, calibration, maintenance, and low-voltage electrical work with limited supervision\nTroubleshoots and repairs instrumentation, electrical, and control system equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational reliability\nSupports the programming, diagnostics, and maintenance of Allen-Bradley PLCs and automated control systems\nInstalls, tests, and commissions instrumentation and electrical equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards \nOther duties as assigned\nEducation/Years of Experience:\nRequired: High School Diploma/GED, a minimum of six (6) months’ experience in the natural gas or related industry\nPreferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree\nPreferred: One (1) years of Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) experience, including instrumentation troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance, with experience performing low-voltage electrical work in an industrial environment\nPreferred: One (1) year with Allen-Bradley PLC systems, including programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics, with the ability to support and maintain automated control systems\nWe welcome candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experiences - if you don’t meet every qualification, this role may be filled at a level that aligns with your skills and growth potential\nPhysical and Environment Work Requirements:\nThe ability to:\nWork in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces\nCarry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed\nStand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time\nWork at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)\nUse hand tools\nShift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:\nAvailable to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holiday as the need arises\nMay be required to work overtime and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays\n\nOther Requirements:\nMust possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record\nDemonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes\nDemonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority\nNeeds basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills\nPrevious experience working in an environment with gas-plant operations, gas compression and/or liquid or gas gathering processes\nPrevious experience in the mechanical, electrical, and/or maintenance industry\n#LI-KK1We invest in our people in ways that actually show up in your day-to-day, not just on paper.
