This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong problem-solving mindset, proficient web development coding skills, and a keen interest in leveraging an existing code base and new tools to deliver new user interfaces for use in Product Support. The intern will collaborate on projects that impact our business operations and contribute to our growth.\nCollaborate with other members of the Operations and Development team to implement new software systems.\nAssist in developing PHP pages and code to facilitate API integrated tasks.\nContribute to the development of dashboards and visualizations for reporting key performance metrics.\nCollaborate on projects to increase user efficiency with ERP transactions.\nSupport the maintenance of software source control repositories for Product Support projects.\nParticipate in problem-solving sessions and brainstorming discussions to address business challenges.\nConduct independent research to explore new techniques and tools.\nCommunicate findings effectively through presentations and reports to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nWork with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide analytical insights.\nEmbrace a dynamic learning environment and proactively seek opportunities to expand skillset.\nQualifications\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 60 credit hours (must be a junior or senior standing or in a Master’s program).\nMinimum cumulative GPA 3.0, preferred\nProficiency in web languages for user interactions and integration with APIs.\nFamiliarity with software source control tools (e.g., Git) for version control and collaboration.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to independently approach and solve complex programming challenges.\nSelf-motivated with a strong drive to learn and apply new concepts.\nBasic understanding of data visualization principles and tools (e.g., Dash and Plotly, Power BI) is a plus.\nExperience with SQL, data querying, and data preprocessing is desirable.\nAvailability to work 40 hours per week during the summer of 2027\nMust be willing and able to work 100% onsite in Pontiac, Michigan\nU.S. citizenship is required\nPosition requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
