Working in a team environment, the Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for minimizing production down time by performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on all manufacturing and production equipment. This includes a diverse range of production machinery, from basic mechanical systems to complex computer-controlled systems. This is a 2nd Shift position.\nBenefits: Health, Dental, and Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, Educational Assistance, and more\nAdditionally, the Machine Maintenance Technician will:\nPerform routine and preventive maintenance (PM) on all mechanical, electrical, and automated systems to prevent unscheduled downtime\nEnsure that machines and equipment are properly aligned and/or calibrated as required\nRespond to and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, diagnosing the root cause of malfunctions using a combination of observation, technical manuals, and advanced diagnostic tools\nComplete repairs on machines and equipment when appropriate, escalating complex or advanced issues to the appropriate parties when necessary\nDismantle machinery to remove defective parts and replace them with new ones using standard tools such as hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and multimeters\nMaintain CNC machines and use ladder logic processes to properly diagnose and repair faults of unscheduled equipment interruptions\nWork with advanced control systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), to troubleshoot and debug automation sequences\nAssist Engineers and Installation Technicians with initial set up and relocation manufacturing equipment\nMaintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs performed, and parts used\nMay occasionally train, mentor, and provide guidance to less experienced team members\nEnsure all maintenance tasks are performed safely and in accordance with company policies and industry regulations\nPerform other job-related duties as assigned\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nCertifications or technical training in industrial maintenance is a plus\n\n5+ years of experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environmentIndustrial equipment and safety practices\nElectrical, Hydraulic and pneumatic circuits\nKnowledge of Siemens and/or Fanuc CNC Controls\nTroubleshooting or basic root cause analysis\nKnowledge of controls hardware design and configuration\nEquipment rigging experience is a plus\n\nThe following knowledge and skills are essential to the role:\n\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals\nAbility to adapt and learn new technologies, staying current with evolving company and industry advancements\nEffectively communicates with team members, engineers, cell specialist, and all levels of management\nGood time-management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team\nFlexibility to work overtime or weekends to address unexpected maintenance issues\nResponsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy\nPhysical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).\nU.S. Citizenship status required\nPosition requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
