As an R&O Technician, you will work with a team of specialists on our turbine engine products. Responsibilities include assembly, disassembly, test, cleaning of parts, rework of components, and engine preparation for shipment, plus a variety of other tasks enabling you to quickly become a contributing member of our team, with the possibility of earning FAA Repairman Certification.\nAdditionally, the R&O Technician will:\nAssemble, disassemble, clean, and conduct rework of gas turbine engines and related components. Assignments are accomplished by following process plans, general work instructions, and/or engine manuals. \nStamp work at completion of the operation to ensure compliance to engine manual and quality requirements.\nConduct the visual inspection of engine hardware. \nMaintain work area in accordance with established 6S standards. \nAdhere to all safety standards and regulations.\nPerform other duties as assigned. \nQualifications\nMust have a high school diploma, or equivalent.\nBasic computer skills required.\nMust have at least 2 years of professional experience as a mechanic or 1 year directly working with Williams International gas turbine engines preferred. \nAbility to read and interpret sketches/drawings and use inspection equipment is required. \nMust have good verbal and written communication skills\nPhysical lifting requirements include: ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and able to reach above the shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum). \nU.S. citizenship is required. \nPosition requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
