Our culture fosters creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning to position our team members to inspire each other and provide quality products and supporting services that exceed the expectations of our customers.\nThe Opportunity\nWilliams International has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join our team.\nThis position is 100% on-site.\nThe Systems Engineer responsibilities include:\nIntegrate and implement the systems engineering process for turbine-based propulsion systems and the interfacing aircraft systems, including defining requirements, performing analyses, and tracking reliability, hazards and risk management for the lifecycle of the assigned program\nConduct system safety analysis including fault tree creation, system hazard analysis, FMEA and FMECA generation, reliability disciplines and failure investigations\nWork with cross functional engineering teams to organize data and information in accordance customer requirements and Williams best practices\nSubstantiate and inform design decisions for technical leadership\nDefine and track system, subsystem and component verification and validation\nWork closely with the Program Management team to collaborate with the customer throughout the project\nProduce timely customer-defined data packages at regular intervals\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).\n5+ years of technical experience within Systems Engineering\nBroad technical knowledge base of turbine engine or airframe technology\nKnowledge of systems engineering lifecycle, roles and functions, including deriving requirements into actionable steps\nExperience with FMEA, FMECA or Fault Tree Analysis\nFamiliarity with Electronics or Software systems\nDemonstrates ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships across the organization\nDemonstrates interpersonal skills with effective negotiation and conflict-resolution experience\nDemonstrates organizational skills and ability to produce a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail\nPossesses written communication skills and proficiency in document preparation\nFamiliarity with commercial standards (SAE ARP 4754, SAE ARP 4761, DO-160, DO-178 and DO-254 certification) and the equivalent military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-882, etc.)\nU.S. citizenship is required\nPosition requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
