This role will apply technical skills and work with internal/external business partners to create a vision and roadmap. We appreciate a new perspective on solutions for our ever-evolving IT needs!\n Responsibilities/Expectations:\nProvides technical governance with the facilitation of the creation/modification of technical standards, models, application tiers, and reference architectures\nLeads technical consulting and collaborates with development teams to facilitate solution design and drive roadmap-aligned architecture enhancements and improvements\nTranslates business requirements into repeatable design strategies, systems qualities and patterns\nDevelops current and target state architecture blueprints with transition roadmaps and incremental architectural sequencing\nResearches, evaluates, and recommends technologies and standards aligned with current and future Williams strategies to maintain a competitive advantage\nServes as a trusted advisor to IT and business leadership, focusing on technology enablement for business capabilities while fostering collaboration and alignment between technical teams and stakeholders\nPartners with cybersecurity, identity and access management, and data governance teams to ensure AIarchitecturescomply withsecurity standards, privacy, regulatory requirements, and responsible AI principles (model risk, bias mitigation, human-in-the-loop oversight)\nDefines reusable AI architecture patterns and reference implementations (e.g., retrieval-augmented generation, event-driven AI services, agent-based workflows, AI-assisted field operations) and drives adoption across product and project teams\nContributes to AI education and enablement by mentoring developers, analysts, and business stakeholders, helping them understand AI capabilities, constraints, and patterns for safe and effective use\nOther duties as assigned\n Education/Years of Experience:\nRequired: Bachelor’s degree in IT related field; a minimum ten (10) years’ developing software systems and IT experience\nPreferred: Minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience and prior oil/gas industry experience\nShift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:\nLess than 20% travel required, including the possibility for some international travel\n Other Requirements:\nPossesses knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and predictive analytics, with practical experience applying cloud-based AI, generative AI, data, and integration services in Azure, AWS, GCP, or equivalent platforms\nDemonstrates understanding of AI governance and responsible AI principles, including data privacy, regulatory considerations, security and access control, model risk, bias mitigation, explainability, human-in-the-loop oversight, and AI solution evaluation and monitoring\nDemonstrates proficiencyin AI and generative AI architecture, including large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, model integration, and reusable enterprise AI solution patterns\nDemonstrates proficient knowledge of architecture principles, frameworks, and standards, with experience designing and maintaining large-scale projects\nExhibits strong analytical and data analysis capabilities, supported by excellent planning and organizational skills\nPossesses broad working knowledge of IT domains, including infrastructure and operations, data centers, databases, networking, and security standards.\nDemonstrates effective leadership and consulting skills, with strong interpersonal capabilities including teamwork, facilitation, negotiation, targeted communication, stakeholder engagement, and internal partner management\nApplies awareness of existing, emerging, and new technologies, with proficient knowledge of scripting concepts and how scripts operate\n#LI-CT1Why Tulsa?\nBecause here, you don’t have to choose between career and lifestyle.
