You will work closely with landowners, legal counsel, company partners, and external stakeholders to support projects while providing excellent customer service and resolving complex land-related issues. The ability to influence others, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization are keys to success.\nResponsibilities/Expectations:\nNegotiates, acquires, and manages land and property rights for pipelines and facilities\nMeets with landowners, local leaders, and stakeholders to negotiate easements, purchase agreements, and other land-related rights\nSupports maintenance, operations, relocation, abandonment, and growth capital projects\nPrepares and manages project budgets\nConducts market research and analyzes economic conditions, real estate developments, and land transactions\nCollaborates with legal counsel to prepare and maintain contracts, title reports, legal descriptions, and other land-related documents\nProvides guidance and support to project teams on land-related matters\nMentors other land team members and contract support personnel\nRepresents the company in public meetings, hearings, and external stakeholder interactions as needed\nOther duties as assigned\nEducation/Years of Experience:\nLand Representative III\nRequired: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of six (6) years' experience in oil and gas industry, land, real estate, or legal\nPreferred: Bachelor's degree in business or related field; Senior Right of Way Professional certification\nSenior Land Representative\nRequired: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in oil and gas industry, land, real estate, or legal\nPreferred: Bachelor's degree in business or related field; Senior Right of Way Professional certification\nOther Requirements:\nDemonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as the utmost priority\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills\nDemonstrates ability to prepare, interpret, and negotiate contracts\nStrong negotiation and relationship-building skills\nLevel Placement Considerations: Candidates will be considered for either the Land Representative III or Senior Land Representative level based on their experience, demonstrated skills, scope of responsibility, and overall qualifications.\n#LI-AB1Hourly/Salary Guidelines:\n(Minimum, Midpoint, Maximum)\n$100,900 - $147,400 - $201,800We invest in our people in ways that actually show up in your day-to-day, not just on paper.
