Confidence in presentation-making and the ability to work independently and as a team leader are also vital in this role!\nResponsibilities/Expectations:\nAccounts for a diverse range of sophisticated assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and judgment\nMay supervise the work of others\nDemonstrates technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function and applies specialized knowledge in the effective completion of large-scope projects\nPrepares and delivers presentations\nAnticipates internal/external customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies solutions\nInterprets internal/external business challenges and improves products, processes or services\nCollaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs\nChampions processes, procedures and safety standards\nMonitors and controls costs and resources associated with projects\nProvide process engineering support for the design, expansion, optimization, and troubleshooting of midstream natural gas and liquids facilities, including gathering, compression, dehydration, stabilization, and NGL systems.\nDevelop and maintain process simulations using ProMax, VMGSim, and other engineering tools to perform heat and material balances, hydraulic analyses, equipment sizing, and process optimization.\nLead the design and optimization of natural gas compression and dehydration facilities, including associated liquids handling, vapor management, process controls, and emissions-control systems.\nEvaluate gas compositions, operating conditions, and phase behavior to predict condensation, water dropout, hydrate formation, dew points, and liquids production.\nDevelop and review PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, operating philosophies, and overpressure protection systems, including PSV sizing.\nSize, specify, and select process equipment, including separators, vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, control valves, dehydration equipment, and related systems.\nProvide technical support throughout the full project lifecycle, from conceptual and detailed design through construction, commissioning, startup, performance testing, and operational troubleshooting.\nSupport process safety and regulatory compliance through HAZOPs, PHAs, relief-system evaluations, MOC, and adherence to company standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.\nOther duties as assigned\nEducation/Years of Experience:\nRequired: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; and a minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry\nOther Requirements:\nDemonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills\nProficiency in engineering specialties covering more than one subject area\nPreferred: Project Management experience\nWhy Pittsburgh?\nIt’s where legacy meets innovation.
