You will play a key role in maintaining, monitoring, and improving the health of security systems while partnering with engineering and IT teams to resolve issues and enhance security posture.\nResponsibilities\nProvide Level 2 support for security tools including Google SecOps, Tanium, CrowdStrike, Ping Identity, and Delinea \nMonitor, triage, and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems to engineering (L3) as needed \nPerform system maintenance activities including patching, upgrades, and configuration updates \nSupport vulnerability scanning processes and track remediation efforts with technology teams \nAssist in troubleshooting system alerts, integration issues, and performance concerns \nPartner with DevOps, IT, and Security Engineering teams to ensure secure configurations and best practices \nDocument procedures, configurations, and operational runbooks \nIdentify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives \nCriteria\n3 years of experience in information security, IT operations, or related field \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience\n\nFoundational understanding of security principles and practices \nExperience supporting security tools such as EDR, IAM, SIEM, or vulnerability management platforms \nWorking knowledge of Windows and Linux systems \nBasic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS) \nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills \nAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment \nExposure to tools such as Google SecOps, CrowdStrike, Tanium, Ping, or Delinea preferred\nExperience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar) preferred\nFamiliarity with incident response or security operations workflows preferred\nThis role requires being onsite in the Rocklin, CA or San Francisco, CA office Monday through Thursday\n\nOur Culture & Values\nWe believe that taking care of our people is vital to our success and we strive to offer equitable and transparent practices for all.
