who can turn complex data into simple and meaningful business insights.\nLocation: Pune, India\nYou will work closely with business teams, Product Managers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and other technology teams to understand business needs and build scalable reporting and analytics solutions.\nThe role requires strong hands-on experience in Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, and MicroStrategy, along with a good understanding of Databricks and modern data platforms.\nWe are also looking for someone who understands how Business Intelligence is evolving, especially how strong semantic models can Work On\nPower BI, DAX, Power Query, Power BI Copilot, and Microsoft Fabric\nMicroStrategy, Intelligent Cubes, REST APIs, SDK-based integrations, and System Manager\nSQL, Snowflake, Azure Databricks, and Delta Lake\nAzure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Blob Storage, and Azure DevOps\nPython, PySpark, and Apache Spark\nApache Kafka and other streaming technologies\nAI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and natural-language analytics\nCI/CD pipelines and Dev, QA, and Production environments\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop scalable Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.\nBuild and maintain business semantic models with clear measures, dimensions, relationships, KPIs, and business definitions.\nDevelop and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions.\nDesign and work with MicroStrategy schema objects such as attributes, facts, hierarchies, relationships, metrics, filters, prompts, consolidations, and custom groups.\nWork with MicroStrategy projects, Intelligent Cubes, caching, aggregate tables, and VLDB settings to improve reporting performance.\nWrite and optimize complex SQL queries across large enterprise datasets.\nWork with Snowflake, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and other enterprise data platforms.\nUnderstand business requirements and convert them into clear data models, semantic models, reports, and analytical solutions.\nBuild solutions using good data modeling practices, including fact and dimension models, star schemas, and snowflake schemas.\nImprove dashboard, SQL, semantic model, and reporting performance.\nWork with business teams to define and maintain consistent business metrics, KPIs, definitions, and calculation logic.\nUnderstand how AI agents and natural-language analytics can work on top of a governed business semantic layer.\nAdd meaningful metadata, descriptions, synonyms, relationships, and business context so AI-based analytics can interpret business questions correctly.\nWork with Data Engineering and AI teams to ensure AI-assisted analytics uses trusted and governed enterprise data.\nEnsure data quality, security, access control, lineage, and consistency across reporting solutions.\nTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide long-term fixes.\nSupport deployments and production releases across reporting platforms.\nReview solutions developed by other engineers and help maintain good engineering standards.\nMentor junior engineers and share knowledge and best practices across the team.\nTake ownership of solutions from requirement understanding through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.\nQualifications\n5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a similar role.\nStrong hands-on experience with Power BI, including semantic models, DAX, Power Query, and performance optimization.\nStrong hands-on experience with MicroStrategy reporting and dashboard development.\nGood understanding of MicroStrategy schema objects, metrics, filters, prompts, Intelligent Cubes, caching, and performance tuning.\nStrong SQL skills with experience working with large enterprise datasets.\nGood hands-on experience with Snowflake.\nExperience working with Azure Databricks / Delta Lake or similar modern data platforms.\nStrong understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling, including fact tables, dimensions, star schemas, and snowflake schemas.\nGood understanding of semantic layers, business measures, KPIs, metadata, and relationships.\nExperience with report and query performance optimization.\nUnderstanding of data quality, governance, security, lineage, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).\nAbility to troubleshoot complex reporting and data issues independently.\nAbility to work directly with business users and translate business questions into technical solutions.\nGood communication and problem-solving skills.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.\nGood to Have\nExperience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building simple ETL/ELT and reporting pipelines.\nAbility to use ADF to move data from source systems to Azure Blob Storage or other cloud storage.\nUnderstanding of ADF linked services, parameters, variables, and environment-specific configurations.\nExposure to deploying ADF resources across Dev, QA, and Production using Azure DevOps and CI/CD.\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Copilot.\nBasic understanding of how LLMs, RAG, and AI agents can work with enterprise data and business semantic models.\nExperience with Python, PySpark or Apache Spark.\nExposure to Apache Kafka or other streaming technologies.\nExperience with MicroStrategy REST APIs or SDK-based integrations.\nExposure to
