You’ll lead a highly skilled group of technicians whose work will ensure our facility equipment is maintained and our pipeline operations are successful!\nResponsibilities/Expectations:\nWorks under the direction of Operations Manager to achieve safety, operational and maintenance priorities\nCoordinates and ensures that team members are adequately trained and capable of identifying hazards and safely carrying out duties\nVerifies all work performed is in strict accordance with policies and procedures\nMaintains a safe, secure and motivating work environment and holds employees accountable for safe practices\nServes as a consistent and regular presence at work sites, supervising and auditing critical safety procedures and providing immediate and regular feedback\nAssists with budgeting, forecasting and conducts routine operating cost analysis\nCommunicates outage plans to business partners to minimize impacts to customers and profitability\nEnsures that a collaborative environment exists where information is readily shared\nThrives in a team environment and can build effective teams\nArranges workforce planning and career development for team members\nDelegates and coordinates the work of others\nMaintains positive relationships with internal and external customers to recognize and improve potential opportunities\nAssures economic operations by handling costs through accurate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling with a focus on safety, high reliability, environmental and regulatory compliance\nAbility to analyze and develop process improvements and development of vital documentation\nOperates as a subject matter expert or change agent for meaningful organizational programs and initiatives\nOther duties as assigned\nEducation/Years of Experience:\nRequired: High School diploma or GED; a minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a supervisor or senior lead role and a minimum of eight (8) years of industry specific operations experience\nPreferred: Associate's degree\nPhysical and Environment Work Requirements:\nMust be willing to:\nWork in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces\nCarry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed\nStand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time\nWork at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)\nUse hand tools\nOther Requirements: \nMust possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record\nDemonstrates excellent project management/organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills\nNeeds broad knowledge of pipeline operations, engineering practices, and regulatory compliance\nPreferred: Proficiency in trouble shooting tools such as P&ID’s, data historian process trending, SCADA and laboratory/on-line analyzer analysis\nWe invest in our people in ways that actually show up in your day-to-day, not just on paper.
