This role may include oversight of dining room, dish room, and kitchen operations while ensuring a seamless experience for Residents and Guests.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide supervision and leadership support in Culinary Services operations, including dining room, dish room, and kitchen oversight.\nEnsure prompt, courteous service for Residents and Guests while upholding Willow Valley standards.\nCoordinate Team Member activities and work assignments, and maintain the working knowledge necessary to cover shifts as needed.\nAddress Resident concerns, manage complaints, and ensure timely follow-up.\nAssist with the coordination and planning of Special Functions in addition to daily operations.\nOversee and enforce all Culinary Services policies and procedures while making recommendations for improvements.\nMaintain records of meal counts, charges, daily activities, and food safety systems.\nSchedule assigned Team Members according to budget guidelines and operational needs while maintaining timekeeping records.\nInspect dining rooms and serving stations to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness.\nRequisition table linens and dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.\nConduct Team Meetings and communicate important updates and information.\nTrain Team Members to ensure Willow Valley standards are consistently met.\nFollow Willow Valley's HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.\nUtilize computer programs to complete daily reports and communications.\nMay be assigned purchasing responsibilities, including purchasing food and supplies, inventory oversight, data entry, receiving, and storage procedures.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe're looking for a leader who enjoys working with people, thrives in a hospitality environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional service.\nQualifications:\nAssociate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training Team Members.
