Reviews any modifications to recipes to meet quality standards with Cook 2, Sous Chef or Chef.\nObserves and tests food being cooked by properly taste testing and taking food temperatures using proper ServSafe procedures and guidelines.\nFood preparation and cooking skills include but are not limited to: measuring, washing, peeling, cutting, grilling, baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, carving and portioning foods.\nMonitors food quantities and quality during the meal period in a menu, buffet or display cooking setting.\nMaintains a cleaning schedule to assure work areas are kept clean and sanitary.\nAssures kitchens and related areas are set up and cleaned up using established cleaning guidelines and checklists.\nPractices the proper operation of equipment to ensure personal safety and avoid damage to equipment.\nResponsible to assure proper records are maintained for food production and ordering within the food management system.\nFollow Willow Valley’s HACCP plan and all related food safety policies and procedures.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nAt least 1 year of line cook full-service experience in a non-fast food restaurant setting\n\nA team-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail\n\nA commitment to quality food and service\n\n__________________________________________________________________________________________________________\nSchedule Options\nFull-Time Opportunities Available\n Schedule:Tuesday-Saturday\n11:00 AM - 9:00 PM (closing time could vary based on business needs)\nHours will adjust in April 2027\n\nLocation\nThe Marlin and Doris Thomas Memory Center\n\n961 Willow Valley Lakes Drive, Willow Street, PA 17584\nWillow Valley Communities is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
