The role involves designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend services and real-time data processing solutions while following modern software engineering, DevOps and Agile practices.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Design, develop and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.\n\n- Develop scalable and resilient RESTful APIs and microservices.\n\n- Build and maintain real-time, low-latency data processing solutions using Apache Kafka.\n\n- Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka producers, consumers and messaging patterns.\n\n- Develop containerized microservices using Docker.\n\n- Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes, Helm and Kubernetes configuration files.\n\n- Work with API Gateway technologies for API routing, security, authentication and traffic management.\n\n- Develop cloud-native applications and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\n- Implement unit and integration testing using JUnit and follow TDD/BDD practices.\n\n- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and production support.\n\n- Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices.\n\n- Work with tools such as Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, Docker and Kubernetes.\n\n- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.\n\n- Troubleshoot application, performance and production issues.\n\n- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA and DevOps engineers.\n\n- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and reviews.\n\n- Track development activities and defects using tools such as Jira and Confluence.\n\nMandatory Skills :\n\n- Strong hands-on experience in Java 8+.\n\n- Spring / Spring Boot.\n\n- RESTful Web Services / REST APIs.\n\n- Apache Kafka.\n\n- Microservices
