Our equipment can produce highly complex semiconductor parts, enabling next level efficiencies in electronics manufacturing.\nJOIN US as our Global Software Leader, based at our Rock Hill manufacturing facility, and we can offer you an opportunity to work in a high-tech, specialist company working with some of the best global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy.\nThe role of Global Software Leader is a global management team position with responsibility for leading and managing all aspects of Winbro product software across the global business, with a particular focus on supporting current products as well as developing new products in support of new and existing markets. This role requires leadership and management of a team of Software Engineers based in all Winbro locations including US, UK and Taiwan aligning Winbro software products, product development and innovation activity with business goals and objectives.\nRole and responsibilities:\nSoftware Product Leadership\nDrive innovative software solutions creating exceptional value to Winbro customers. \nDefine, prioritize, and maintain the software product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders. \nOwn the end-to-end software product lifecycle from vision and roadmap to release and iteration. \nEnsure best practice in software development, testing, documentation, and release management. \nDefine clear product requirements and functional specifications based on customer feedback, market needs, and internal insights. \nWork closely with Engineering, Product Management, Production and Service teams to deliver software that integrates seamlessly with hardware platforms. \nEnsure timely delivery of software that is fully tested, validated, and documented. \nTeam Management & Development\nSupport a ‘One Winbro’ culture across all Winbro locations. Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary software team (developers, testers, UI/UX). \nFoster a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. \nProvide leadership and governance of the development process in order to deliver software projects to specification, on time and within budget. \nLead the team in the exploration of future software opportunities - including data analytics, automation, and digital support tools - in anticipation of customer needs. \nManage team project and work schedules and ensure that status and progress updates are provided to all stakeholders. \nDesign and implement comprehensive onboarding, training and development programs in coordination with Human Resources for every team member. \nCross-functional Collaboration\nCollaborate with hardware Product Managers, Service and Market Managers to ensure a unified product strategy. \nSupport customer-facing teams with technical training, documentation, and feedback loops. \nAlign software development goals with business and market priorities. \nEnsure a seamless and value-driven user experience across all software products.\nRequirements\n5+ years' experience in software product management, with prior experience of leading software teams across multiple regions. \nProven ability to manage product roadmaps, define requirements, and launch successful software solutions. \nSolid understanding of software development lifecycle, testing protocols, and release processes. \nStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. \nAbility to travel globally to customer sites and to Winbro locations including US, UK and Taiwan.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
