Working hand-in-hand with other teams, they ensure a flawless data pipeline powering our trading algorithms. Beyond data, they craft and maintain ultra-reliable execution engines that handle complex exchange protocols with precision, security, and zero downtime. Every line of code - written in Rust - keeps our trading edge razor-sharp.\nWhat will you do in the Trading Core team\nFast and Efficient Data Retrieval: The TC team builds high-performance systems to fetch data from multiple crypto exchanges with minimal latency, ensuring access to the most up-to-date market information.\n\nOrder Entry: TC team is responsible for order entry on every venue Wincent trades by employing state of the art techniques and tricks to get model outputs as fast to matching engines as possible in form of create, cancels and amend order requests.\n\nData Normalisation: After acquiring raw data, the team normalises and standardises it to create a consistent and uniform format across different exchanges.\n\nMonitor the live system’s performance and correctness as part of on-call rotation.\n\nWhat we expect from you\nSenior Engineering Expertise: 5+ years in system design, performance tuning, and low-level optimization. We don't require knowledge of any specific language or framework.\n\nStrong Algorithmic Thinking: Ability to capture and analyze data\n\nCollaborative Spirit: Teamwork, communication, and collaboration are essential, as we work as a single unit, not as a group of individual contributors.\n\nSystems Thinking: Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.\n\nOwnership & Problem Solving: We provide a lot of freedom to our engineers, so we expect you to be a “manager of one” who owns their agenda and delivers results.\n\nCulture Fit: Say things as they are, answer questions truthfully, leave ego at the door, challenge decisions when you disagree, and once a decision is final, commit and deliver your best.\n\nInterview process\nIntroductory call: Learn more about the company and get your questions answered.\n\nOnline assessment: Algorithmic coding challenge\n\nTechnical screening: Interview with one of our engineers, to assess your tech skills.\n\nTechnical interview: The live coding part to evaluate coding skills as well as communication and problem solving skills.\n\nSystem Design interview\n\nThe entire interview process is online.\nCompensation, work arrangement, and benefits\nWe offer competitive, above-market compensation tailored to your expertise, seniority, and local residency. The typical base salary range is 80,000 € - 150,000 €per year, with the final offer reflecting each candidate’s individual experience and depth of technical skill. We can go even higher on base salary in specific cases.\n\nEvery six months, we celebrate impact. This bonus is tied directly to both individual excellence and the fund’s overall performance. When the team wins, you win too.
