The ideal candidate would be interested in working a minimum 20 hours per week out of our Ridgefield, WA office. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the world of municipal infrastructure consulting. You'll leverage the tools you are learning in school to assist our team in creating resilient communities through innovative water/wastewater and potentially infrastructure solutions.\nHourly pay starting at $24/hour\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nDemonstrate Windsor’s core values: The Right Attitude, Ownership, and Constant Improvement.\nAssist with project design and analysis using AutoCAD software, ArcGIS, and other civil and process modeling design tools.\nParticipate in field surveys and tasks to gather necessary data for project planning and design.\nPrepare and review technical documents, design calculations, reports, and presentations to ensure compliance with project specifications.\nVisit project sites to monitor progress, ensure proper installation, and perform quality control.\nWork closely with civil engineers and assist with project coordination tasks as needed.\nAttend and engage in project and company meetings.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRecent graduate or enrolled as a senior working towards bachelor’s degree in, civil, environmental, or related Engineering discipline (ABET-accredited preferred).\nStrong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and contractor interface.\nStrong Word, Excel and powerpoint skills for supporting project leads and coordinators with preparing project documents and calculations.\nDrafting experience with Autocad Civil 3D, GIS, and Revit\nValid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.\nAbility to work in outdoor field conditions and construction environments on an as-needed basis.\nOptional: Environmental and water quality sampling experience, Process/mechanical piping design\nWhat We Offer\nPaid internships \nDirect mentorship from industry experts\nHands-on experience with cutting-edge technology\nFlexible work arrangements that support your academic journey\nClear path for growth and development\nREADY FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT?\nWindsor hires amazing people who live our core values.
