More than traditional security professionals, our team serves as ambassadors for the institution-providing exceptional customer service while supporting the college's academic mission, diverse community, and commitment to inclusion.\nOur guards perform a wide range of responsibilities, from maintaining campus safety and responding to incidents to assisting students, faculty, staff, and visitors with professionalism and care. We have openings across all three shifts.\nPay is $22.05 an hour.\nWindwalker Security Guards will provide a variety of services, which may include, but is not limited to the following tasks:\nManagement of visitors at access control points with a combination of utmost courtesy, decisiveness, and professionalism.\nConsistently resolute professional appearance and demeanor of public-facing employees. \nValidate strict compliance with security standards.\nEmphasis on interaction with affinity participants such as local, state police, and DHS.\nEnsure high standards of conduct/zero tolerance for non-professional behavior.\nEffective and transparent employee discipline procedures.\nHigh touchpoints between and among contract employees, client management, and company managers.\nPreparedness planning for effective response to potential crises.\nProvide high level customer service to clients through daily interaction with students, staff, faculty and visitors.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or GED required\nMust be at least 18 years old\nAbility to pass a background check\nAbility to react quickly to a changing environment\nAdvanced ability to respond to security breaches and threats.\nComfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time\nAbility to inform personnel and visitors of security procedures\nExcellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills\nPossess an ability to be flexible and perform a variety of security duties\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nA minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role preferred\nKnowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment preferred\nCPR, First Aid, AED, NARCAN, MOAB, or ACT I, II, or III Certifications highly preferred\nAssociates degree or greater in Criminal Justice related studies\nExperience in documenting, observations, customer service and security procedures\nPrevious concierge
