decisions.\nThe Role\nWindward is looking for Marketing Manager, U.S. Public Sector to build and execute the company’s marketing and brand strategy across the U.S. federal, defense, intelligence, homeland security, and law-enforcement sectors.\nThis is a strategic, hands-on role focused on strengthening Windward’s market position, developing mission-driven narratives, identifying high-impact opportunities, and executing programs that build credibility, engagement, and business growth.\nYou will work closely with the U.S. public-sector sales team, customers, partners, and external stakeholders.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild and execute Windward’s brand and marketing strategy for the U.S. public sector.\nDevelop clear, differentiated, mission-relevant positioning for government, defense, intelligence, and law-enforcement audiences.\nAdapt Windward’s global brand strategy to the priorities, language, and operating realities of the U.S. market.\nIdentify marketing opportunities based on federal priorities, policy developments, budget cycles, geopolitical events, mission requirements, and competitive activity.\nOwn Windward’s presence at key defense, intelligence, maritime, national-security, and federal-technology events.\nPlan and execute conferences, trade shows, executive roundtables, briefings, speaking engagements, webinars, and partner events.\nIdentify and develop collaborations with technology partners, government contractors, industry associations, research organizations, media, and other influential stakeholders.\nBuild thought-leadership programs and content around Maritime AI, maritime domain awareness, national security, illicit activity, sanctions enforcement, and operational decision-making.\nDevelop executive content, reports, briefs, presentations, customer stories, event materials, and sales-enablement assets.\nSupport executives and subject-matter experts with messaging, speaking opportunities, and external engagements.\nManage external agencies, vendors, event partners, budgets, and program performance.\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Bring\n4-5 years of B2B or B2G technology marketing experience, including direct experience marketing to the U.S. federal government.\nProven experience building and executing brand and marketing strategies for complex technology or intelligence offerings.\nStrong understanding of the U.S. government, defense, intelligence, or national-security ecosystem.\nExperience planning and executing industry events, executive programs, partnerships, and thought-leadership initiatives.\nThe ability to identify market opportunities and turn them into focused, well-executed programs.\nStrong positioning, messaging, storytelling, writing, and editing skills.\nThe ability to translate complex technology into clear mission value for executive, operational, and acquisition audiences.\nExperience working closely with public-sector sales and business-development teams.\nStrong project-management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives, stakeholders, vendors, and deadlines.\nA strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, accountable approach to execution.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.\nStrongly Preferred\nExperience in defense technology, national security, intelligence, homeland security, maritime technology, or dual-use technology.\nExperience marketing AI, data analytics, geospatial intelligence, cybersecurity, or decision-intelligence solutions.\nAn established network within the Washington, D.C. federal and defense-technology ecosystem.\nExperience working in a high-growth technology company.\nExperience managing a small team of marketing professionals.\n Existing or ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance, where
