lower change failure rate, and minimize operational overhead.\nDesign, build, and maintain highly scalable, reliable CI/CD systems with fast feedback loops.\nImplement and enforce automated quality gates, including unit/integration/e2e testing, security (SAST/DAST), and dependency and container scanning.\nEstablish Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) as standard practices.\nEnsure consistency, reproducibility, and auditability across all environments.\nOwn and evolve the observability stack (metrics, logs, traces), and drive adoption of SLO/SLI-based reliability practices.\nImplement proactive monitoring, alerting, and, where appropriate, automated remediation (self-healing systems).\nDrive reliability engineering practices, including incident management, blameless postmortems, and error budgets.\nTroubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems and resolve performance bottlenecks.\nEmbed security into the platform (security by design), including RBAC, secrets management, network policies, and automated compliance controls.\nOptimize infrastructure and cloud costs and promoting efficient resource utilization.\nCollaborate closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to continuously improve developer experience.\nTrain and enable teams to effectively leverage platform capabilities and AI-assisted development tools.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\n5+ years’ experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering, including leadership responsibilities.\nStrong hands-on experience building and operating scalable platforms and distributed systems.\nProven track record in developing Internal Developer Platforms or similar self-service engineering ecosystems.\nDeep expertise in CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure at scale.\nPractical experience integrating AI tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) into engineering workflows.\nDemonstrated ability to improve SDLC metrics such as lead time, deployment frequency, and MTTR.\nStrong expertise in Kubernetes and container ecosystems.\nSolid experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).\nProficiency in Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) and configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible).\nStrong scripting or programming skills (e.g. Python, Go, or similar).\nExperience with observability tooling (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).\nGood understanding of reliability engineering principles (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets).\nExperience with DevSecOps practices and modern security approaches.\nFamiliarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.\nStrong systems thinking and ability to simplify complex technical environments.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to influence engineering culture and practices.\nExperience working in fast-paced, high-scale environments.\nCost optimisation experience would be
