strategies (blue-green, canary).\nChampion engineering excellence through coding standards, code reviews, and architectural best practices.\nDrive adoption of microservices architecture and domain-driven design principles where appropriate.\nEnsure systems are designed for high scalability and performance, supporting growing workloads and traffic.\nDefine and implement strategies for horizontal and vertical scaling, load balancing, and performance optimization.\nDrive integration and effective use of AI-powered development tools (e.g. Copilot, Claude, Cursor).\nPartner closely with DevOps to ensure scalable, reliable, and automated infrastructure.\nOversee architecture decisions for distributed systems and microservices environments.\nDefine and track key engineering metrics (deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR, change failure rate).\nEnsure strong collaboration between engineering, product, QA, and DevOps teams.\nLead hiring, mentoring, and development of engineering managers and senior engineers across all domains.\nManage engineering capacity, planning, and prioritization across multiple teams and functions.\nEnsure security, compliance, and reliability are embedded into engineering processes.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\n7+ years of experience in software engineering, with leadership experience.\nProven track record in senior engineering leadership roles managing multiple functions (DevOps, QA, Mobile, Platform teams).\nStrong experience in legacy system modernization and migration.\nDeep expertise in distributed systems, scalability, and microservices architecture.\nRock solid experience and expertise with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).\nStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and deployment approaches.\nExperience implementing engineering standards and governance.\nExperience with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor).\nStrong technical background in modern programming languages including C#, .NET, Python, Go, or Java.\nExperience with OpenStack and open-source infrastructure ecosystems.\nSolid understanding of cloud platforms and infrastructure concepts.\nStrong knowledge of software engineering and QA best practices.\nProven ability to scale engineering teams and systems.\nExcellent leadership and communication
