This is a hybrid, in-person program based in Palo Alto, CA, with start dates in May or June. Eligible candidates must be a current student enrolled in a degree program and intend to return to the program after the completion of the summer internship. \nAbout the Role:\nWing is looking for a Flight Test EngineeringIntern to join our Flight Testteam based in Palo Alto, CA / Hollister, CA. \nWing is looking for aFlight Test Intern to join our Flight Test team based in Hollister, CA. The Flight Test team performs world class flight testing to further Wing’s developmental and validation efforts. A day on the flight test team can involve flying a flight test, working on flight test plans, performing analysis of flight test data, and/or working on flight test reports.\nIn this role, you will:\nBe responsible for a flight test project, taking it through each of the phases (planning, preparation, execution, and reporting). \nPerform a real flight test\nExecute the full plan, execute, analyze, report cycle for a flight test\nCollaborate with Winglets in multiple domains to achieve test objectives\nWhat You’ll Need: \nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering or science field, graduating December 2027 or August 2028\nExcellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts and designs to colleagues across disciplines\nComfort with a fast-paced environment and an appetite for innovation\nAbility to work with prototypes, provide feedback on flying characteristics, and/or perform data analysis of flight data.\nMust have an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate\nThe US base salary range for this internship position is the salary range below + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
