To learn more about the merger, click here.\n The Network Engineer III provides advanced technical leadership in the design, implementation, optimization, and support of the organization's network and telecommunications infrastructure. This role is responsible for researching and deploying new technologies, developing infrastructure standards and roadmaps, and ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable network operations. The Network Engineer III collaborates across IT teams to enhance system performance, strengthen business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities, and drive technology innovation that supports organizational goals.\nEssential Functions:\nResponsible for infrastructure designs, plans, installations, and configurations to include:Evaluate, design, implement, and support enterprise network technologies, including campus and data center networking, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, security platforms, and telephony systems.\nResponsible for actively monitoring network, voice, and/or firewall performance, proactively identifying potential issues, and reporting outages to appropriate stakeholders.\nResponsible for analyzing infrastructure usage and predict future needs to ensure scalability and performance.\nAct as a lead for enterprise level infrastructure projects.\n\nDesign and implement security measures on devices, identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.\nDefine and document configuration standards and compliance goals for SME based specific discipline area of focus.\nMaintain accurate and current documentation including topology diagrams, devices configurations, and troubleshooting wiki's.\nTroubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues and infrastructure failures.\nSupport tech lead and team lead in designing, planning, implementation, and testing of projects. \nProvide technical assistance to users regarding connectivity issues, severity incident, and troubleshooting problems.\nMaintain SLAs within the ITSM ticketing system ensuring proper customer satisfaction metrics.\nIdentify areas of opportunity to automate repeatable processes.\nProvide feedback to tech lead and team lead for SLA adherence and improvements.\nParticipate in 24x7 on call rotation ensuring uptime and availability to the organization.\nBank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Wings policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.\n Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, preferred.\n5+ years' combined experience in network engineering, including routing, switching, wireless, 802.1x, security, firewall management, disaster recovery and network architecture, required.\n2+ Years of experience in a technical support or service desk environment, required.\nTechnical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:\nAdvanced expertise in enterprise networking, including Cisco routing and switching, network architecture, security, disaster recovery, monitoring, patching, and performance optimization.\nStrong understanding of information security and regulatory compliance requirements.\nAbility to evaluate, implement, and integrate emerging technologies within the enterprise environment.\nKnowledge of network interoperability, current and future-state architecture, and infrastructure best practices.\nExperience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to IT team members.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.\nExperience developing business cases, technology roadmaps, and infrastructure improvement plans.\nSkilled in solution design and implementation using industry best practices.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project, and Visio.\nExperience with Aruba Wireless and firewall administration.\nWorking knowledge of 802.1X authentication preferred.\nCertifications Required:\nAt least one of the following: CCNA CCIE CompTIA Sec+, upon hire required.\nCCNP or equivalent, preferred.\nExpired certifications may be considered with demonstrated skills or relevant experience in lieu of active certification. \n PAY RANGE: $119,000 to $139,000 Annually (I16), plus 15% annual target bonus.\nFinal compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, location and internal pay equity.\nBENEFITS:\nGenerous 401(k) match\n401k Discretionary Profit Sharing\nHealth Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nLife Insurance\nShort Term and Long Term Disability\nHealth Savings Account with company contribution\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPaid Vacation, Sick, Floating Holidays and Volunteer Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nTuition Reimbursement\nPaid Parental Leave\nWe anticipate this position to close on 9/29/2026.
