We all win together.\nWHAT WE’LL NEED\nThe Payroll Analyst plays a critical role in delivering an accurate, timely, and compliant payroll experience for Wingstop team members across the system. This role is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring all team members are paid correctly while maintaining strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.\nThis individual will partner closely with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies, support audits, and continuously improve payroll processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong attention to detail, and is passionate about delivering a seamless and reliable team member experience.\nOwn and process end-to-end payroll for hourly and salaried corporate employees, both domestic and international, ensuring accuracy and timeliness\n\nManage multi-state U.S. payroll, ensuring proper taxation and compliance across jurisdictions\n\nValidate payroll inputs including hours, earnings, deductions, and adjustments\n\nSupport international payroll across multiple countries, partnering with in-country providers\n\nEnsure compliance with local tax laws, statutory requirements, and payroll regulations\n\nPerform payroll audits and reconciliations, including period-over-period variance analysis and research of discrepancies\n\nAnalyze payroll data to identify trends and resolve issues impacting net pay\n\nAdminister garnishments (e.g., child support, levies), ensuring compliance and timely remittance in coordination with Legal\n\nMaintain and execute payroll controls, including validation checks and audit procedures, to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation across payroll processes\n\nMaintain payroll records and support tax reporting and year-end processes\n\nUtilize Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP) to analyze payroll data, reconcile variances, and improve efficiency\n\nCollaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and vendors to resolve payroll issues and support process improvements\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED\n4+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-location or high-volume environment\n\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent payroll experience\n\nStrong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements\n\nExperience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, or similar platforms)\n\nProficiency in Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP) and comfort working with large data sets\n\nExperience with payroll tools and reporting systems (e.g., HRIS, timekeeping systems)\n\nHigh attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion\n\nAbility to manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment\n\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills to support employees and cross-functional partners\n\nStrong collaboration and customer-service mindset\n\nCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is a plus\n\nWHO YOU ARE \nNo job is too small.
