It’s a unique opportunity to play a role in the early rapid expansion of Wintermute Americas.\nBusiness Development at Wintermute\nWe are looking for a Business Development Associate to drive growth for our two core business lines: OTC and liquidity provisioning. We are looking for a candidate with experience and/or passion for crypto markets, who is ready and excited to make a big impact for Wintermute.\nYou will be responsible for acquiring new counterparties and partners globally, as well as cultivating and growing Wintermute's existing counterparties with a focus on the United States market. You will be responsible for a set of opportunities (a specific market, vertical, and/or product) and will own these opportunities from end-to-end. You will establish your own strategic growth agenda, supported by structured guidance from leadership in Wintermute’s US and global offices. We offer the market’s leading liquidity products, partner with top-tier blockchain products, and have a strong pipeline of strategic growth opportunities and inbound counterparty demand. We have no legacy processes, no corporate bureaucracy, no multiple levels of approvals, and the highest standards of professionalism.\nWhat you will work on:\nGrow the OTC business across both the traditional finance and crypto native ecosystems (both manual and RFQ) - this includes developing and executing your own growth plan which will have many of angles to it: acquiring new counterparties, developing existing relationships, cooperating with developer teams on productizing the solution and execution of trades\n\nGrow the crypto liquidity provision business - deepen relationships with existing crypto projects and acquire new ones\n\nDevelop new relationships with high-profile crypto projects, crypto VCs, institutional investors, miners and other parties of the crypto eco-system; note that we are connected to many of these parties or can get introduced, so this is all about systematically developing the relationships and bringing them to the next level\n\nWork with various cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness in the key markets you are responsible for\n\nDevelop existing relationships with exchanges globally and bring them to the next level\n\nKeep track of key launches and news in the crypto eco-system and proactively identify cooperation and business development opportunities\n\nHard Skills Requirements:\nBA and at 1-2 years of work experience in a high performing, high paced environment (i.e. consulting, banking, Fintech etc)\n\nExperience with the financial services/capital markets industry; experience with crypto markets and/or trading companies/hedge funds is an advantage\n\nExperience in business development or any client-facing role (B2B sales, management consulting, investment banking, sales & trading, etc.) Be ready to talk about numbers/quota achievement, etc.\n\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written - this is not about pitching, but being convincing, concise, precise, a good listener; being clear on
