This role will be responsible for technical oversight of CSA Design information, evaluation of technical compliance and management of technicals risk as well as delivering support, conceptual and Value Engineering options to Project and estimation teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nCarry-out technical reviews of Design information\nTo assess the technical accuracy of the information provided at Tender stage\nTo review Designers output against contracted requirements\nTo provide ad-hoc technical support to regional Design Teams\nTo review projects for Lessons Learned\nTo deliver solutions for VE and concept designs\nTo develop and deliver discipline centric CPD\nProactively identify and resolve technical, design, and coordination issues\nTo lead discussions with regional Design teams and Designers and manage open Risk items to conclusion\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or similar discipline\nMinimum 7 years’ experience within the CSA Engineering, Design Engineering, CSA Lead Engineer, or similar role.\nAn in-depth knowledge of design principles and structural analysis\nStrong exposure in designing to Eurocodes\nExperience of completing technical reviews\nExcellent organisational, communication, and coordination skills\nStrong understanding of CSA construction sequencing, methodologies and co-ordination\nHas proven ability to work with multidisciplinary and BIM teams\nExperience of pre-cast and portal frame structures is advantageous\nExperience of Data centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous\nAbility to prioritise workload and manage and develop others\nProactive, diligent, and solutions-focused approach with a strong eye for detail.\nDemonstrated leadership capability -
