This position will be site-based in Dublin, Ireland.\nSupport the Project management team and Site EHS Manager and Lead. \nAdherence to the project & Winthrop Safety Management system\nAdherence to relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislation\nAdherence to Winthrop Technologies PSCS Environmental, Health & Safety Plans.\nReview Method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of action, permit to work.\nCompliance with the project execution plan.\nGood Safety Practices are managed & maintained.\nOngoing C.O.S.H.H assessments, control of hazardous substances.\nEnsuring that safety interventions are completed & registered.\nCarry out regular site audits and inspection, document results and follow up on any corrective actions.\nMaintain records of statutory inspections make available for project activities, tool and plant.\nAdopt a Proactive approach to project EHS requirements.\nAbility to work either independently or as part of a team.\nEnsure project sub-contractors adhere to project & group EHS policies & procedures.\nEnsure that Winthrop Technologies induction & training is coordinated, managed & maintained.\nCompile & carry out Toolbox talks, as necessary\nAssist or carry out accident investigation reports in a timely manner & ensure communication to Winthrop Technologies project management.\nWelfare & Hygiene facilities are in place, managed & maintained.\nAttend Daily activity briefings and white board meetings\nWaste reduction and recycling programmes are maintained in line with project policies & procedures.\nRequirements\nRelevant third level degree qualification in Health & Safety\n 3+ years’ experience on large construction sites.\n Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation\n Flexibility in working patterns where necessary.\n Ability to efficiently manage all environmental, health and safety issues on site.\n Strong communication & computer skills\n
