This position will be site-based in Helsinki, Finland.\nRequirements\nSupport the Project management team and Site Health & Safety lead\nAdherence to the project & Winthrop Safety Management system\nAdherence to relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislation\nAdherence to Winthrop Technologies PSCS Environmental, Health & Safety Plans.\nReview Method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of action, permit to work.\nCompliance with the project execution plan.\nGood Safety Practices are managed & maintained.\nOngoing C.O.S.H.H assessments, control of hazardous substances.\nEnsuring that safety interventions are completed & registered.\nCarry out regular site audits and inspection, document results and follow up on any corrective actions.\nMaintain records of statutory inspections make available for project activities, tool and plant.\nAdopt a Proactive approach to project EHS requirements.\nAbility to work either independently or as part of a team.\nEnsure project sub-contractors adhere to project & group EHS policies & procedures.\nEnsure that Winthrop Technologies induction & training is coordinated, managed & maintained.\nCompile & carry out Toolbox talks, as necessary\nAssist or carry out accident investigation reports in a timely manner & ensure communication to Winthrop Technologies project management.\nWelfare & Hygiene facilities are in place, managed & maintained.\nAttend Daily activity briefings and white board meetings\nWaste reduction and recycling programmes are maintained in line with project policies & procedures.\nRequirements:\nMinimum of 3 years' experience in an EHS role within large-scale construction or industrial projects.\nThird-level qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.\nNEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent recognised Health & Safety qualification). is a nice to have\nExperience preparing, reviewing, and implementing EHS documentation, including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Permit-to-Work systems, COSHH assessments, and accident/incident investigation reports.\nStrong knowledge of current health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.\nProven ability to work collaboratively with project managers, site management teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to drive a positive safety culture.\nBusiness-fluent English, both written and verbal.\nStrong communication, organisational, and IT skills, with the ability to produce accurate
