This role will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring costs are controlled, value is maximised, and financial delivery is achieved in line with project objectives.\nRequirements\nManage all commercial and contractual aspects of the project lifecycle\nPrepare, review, and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports\nLead the procurement process, including subcontractor selection, tendering, and contract negotiations\nManage subcontractor accounts, including valuations, variations, and final accounts\nMonitor project costs and identify risks and opportunities to ensure financial control\nSupport and collaborate with Project Managers, Package Managers, and site teams on cost management\nEnsure all contractual documentation is maintained and up to date\nAttend Commercial Meetings, Site Meetings, and Project Reviews\nEvaluate and process change orders and manage variations in line with contract requirements\nPrepare and submit interim valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts\nProvide commercial advice and support to the wider project team\nEnsure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and company procedures\nAssist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management\nProactively identify and resolve commercial and contractual issues\nSkills & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar discipline\nMinimum 8+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably within construction\nStrong experience managing commercial aspects of large-scale construction projects\nProven track record in cost control, procurement, and contract administration\nExcellent negotiation, analytical, and financial management skills\nStrong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial practices\nAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams\nHigh level of attention to detail and organisational skills\nData
