We are currently seeking an experienced Campus MV Commissioning Manager to join our team. This position will be site-based in the Dublin area.\nThe Campus MV Commissioning Manager will lead the planning, coordination, supervision and execution of Medium Voltage commissioning activities on critical data-centre projects. The role will have overall responsibility for coordinating MV commissioning activities across assigned electrical packages and vendors, ensuring systems are tested, commissioned, energised and handed over safely, to the required quality standards and in accordance with the project commissioning programme.\nThe Campus MV Commissioning Manager will provide leadership to the MV commissioning team and coordinate closely with Project Management, Electrical Engineering, QA/QC, Energy Marshalling / Electrical Operations, specialist MV vendors and electrical sub-contractors. The role requires strong technical understanding of MV electrical systems and commissioning processes, together with the ability to manage multiple commissioning activities and drive issues, defects and documentation through to close-out.\nReports to: Campus Commissioning Manager / Head of Commissioning\nResponsibilities:\nOverall management and coordination of MV commissioning activities for assigned electrical packages, systems and vendors.\nDevelop, coordinate and maintain the MV commissioning strategy, programme and priorities in alignment with the overall project commissioning programme.\nLead and supervise the MV commissioning team, specialist commissioning vendors and electrical sub-contractors to ensure safe, coordinated and timely execution of commissioning activities.\nEnsure all MV commissioning activities are completed in accordance with the approved project scope, specifications, drawings, commissioning procedures and project requirements..\n Manage weekly MV commissioning progress reporting, including progress against programme, key activities, constraints, risks, issues and required actions.\nLead the management, coordination and attendance of factory witness testing (FAT/FWT) and/or facility off-site testing.\nMaintain direct interface with the Site Energy Marshall and the team of Authorised Persons (APs) to coordinate MV commissioning activities, switching plans, isolations, energisation, access arrangements and safe systems of work.\nCoordinate with the Energy Marshalling / Electrical Operations team to ensure safe planning and execution of MV switching, energisation, isolation and permitting activities.\nReview, coordinate and drive approval of MV commissioning documentation, including commissioning procedures, test scripts, method statements, test records, compliance statements and equipment documentation.\nProvide technical leadership during the commissioning and testing of MV switchgear, transformers, protection systems, MV cabling and associated equipment.\nReview protection relay settings and associated test documentation in accordance with approved project requirements.\nEnsure the project commissioning tagging process and procedures are implemented and maintained.\n Lead the identification, investigation and resolution of commissioning issues and coordinate troubleshooting activities with relevant technical parties.\nEnsure commissioning defects are recorded, tracked, prioritised and closed out in accordance with project requirements.\nCoordinate system energisation, functional testing, integrated testing and final handover activities for assigned MV systems.\nTechnical oversight of MV testing, commissioning, energisation and handover.\nEnsure commissioning records and handover documentation are complete, accurate and available for project close-out.\nPromote and enforce a strong safety, quality and environmental culture throughout all commissioning activities.\n Provide technical and managerial support to the Campus Commissioning Manager and wider project team as required.\nRequirements\n Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Services Engineering, Engineering or an Electrical Trade qualification with relevant training and experience.\n Minimum 7 years' experience in electrical commissioning, with significant experience in a commissioning management or supervisory role.\n Proven experience managing MV electrical commissioning activities, preferably within critical infrastructure, data-centre, commercial, industrial or pharmaceutical projects.\nStrong commissioning experience with MV switchgear, transformers, protection systems and associated electrical distribution systems.\nProven experience coordinating and supervising specialist MV commissioning vendors and electrical sub-contractors.\nStrong understanding of MV switching, isolation, energisation and permit-to-work processes.\nExperience reviewing and interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, protection diagrams and equipment documentation.\n· Experience with MV protection relay testing and commissioning is desirable.\n· Experience with MV cable testing and commissioning is desirable.\n· Knowledge of electrical protection systems, interlocks, metering and control systems.\n· Experience working with some or all of the following is desirable:\n· MV Switchgear (incl. respective interlocking strategies)\n· MV Transformers\n· Protection Relays (incl.
