This position will play a key role in the successful delivery of commissioning activities across major data centre projects.\nReports to: Commissioning Lead\nThe Cx Manager will act as the point of contact and will co-ordinate and liaise with a number of stakeholders both external and internal, and as such should have a good balance of technical and project management experience and skills.\nResponsibilities:\nLead, manage, and supervise Commissioning Engineers across the project.\nDefine commissioning work scopes and manage delivery in line with the agreed commissioning strategy and programme.\nMonitor progress against commissioning milestones and deadlines, proactively identifying and addressing risks.\nCommunicate commissioning schedules, milestones, and priorities to internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.\nAct as a key interface with client stakeholders for commissioning activities.\nFacilitate and participate in detailed design reviews for both CFCI and OFCI work packages.\nEnsure all design, system, and process queries are documented and formally raised with system designers and client teams for review and approval.\nManage the overall M&E Commissioning Programme, including milestone tracking, sequencing, and reporting.\nEnsure full compliance with contract documents, specifications, commissioning procedures, and project standards.\nPlan, manage, and coordinate Vendor FATs and FWTs, including attendance where required.\nManage commissioning activities and scope for both CFCI and OFCI vendors.\nMaintain clear and effective communication with all commissioning stakeholders.\nAttend and contribute to daily and weekly commissioning meetings (internal, vendor, and client-facing).\nPrepare, update, and submit commissioning progress and technical reports to the line manager.\nCoordinate closely with the Project QA/QC Department to ensure quality objectives are achieved.\nManage the preparation, submission, review, and approval of commissioning documentation, including test scripts, compliance statements, and sign-off records.\nEnsure commissioning documentation is reviewed and approved to achieve the required commissioning level and final handover.\nRequirements\nDegree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Commissioning leadership role within data centre or mission-critical projects.\nMechanical or Electrical bias acceptable, with strong working knowledge of both disciplines.\nProven ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships in a multi-contractor site environment.\nStrong understanding of EHS requirements associated with Mechanical and Electrical commissioning activities.\nBenefits\nWork with a market leader
