This is a hands-on position combining site operations with increasing responsibility across plant and equipment, procurement, timesheets and site coordination. Working closely with our experienced management team across Civils, Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical, you will gain valuable exposure to the wider construction process and develop the skills required to progress into site supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident on site, takes initiative and is ready to move from a predominantly hands-on role into site supervision and management.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide hands-on support across day-to-day site activities.\nOperate telehandler equipment safely and effectively on busy construction projects.\nAssist with the movement and coordination of materials, plant and equipment.\nMaintain high standards of site housekeeping, organisation and presentation.\nAssist with general site maintenance and operational requirements.\nSupport the management of plant and equipment hire.\nAssist with procurement of materials, equipment and site requirements.\nMaintain personnel timesheets and relevant site records.\nSupport the site management team with day-to-day coordination and administration.\nAssist in identifying and resolving operational issues on site.\nDevelop an understanding of the coordination of different trades and construction activities.\nWork closely with supervisors, engineers, project managers and subcontractors.\nTake on increasing levels of responsibility as experience and capability develop.\nWork towards assuming greater supervisory responsibility within the project team.\nRequirements\nPrevious experience working as a skilled construction/site operative.\nValid Telehandler Ticket and good practical experience operating telehandlers on busy construction projects.\nGood understanding of general construction site activities.\nStrong awareness of health, safety and quality requirements.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a wider project team.\nGood organisational and time-management skills.\nGood computer skills and confidence using standard Microsoft Office applications.\nPractical and proactive approach to problem solving.\nAbility to take initiative and work independently when required.\nWillingness
