This position will be site-based in Amsterdam.\nRequirements\nSupport the Project management team and Site Health & Safety lead\nAdherence to the project & Winthrop Safety Management system\nAdherence to relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislation\nAdherence to Winthrop Technologies PSCS Environmental, Health & Safety Plans.\nReview Method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of action, permit to work.\nCompliance with the project execution plan.\nGood Safety Practices are managed & maintained.\nOngoing C.O.S.H.H assessments, control of hazardous substances.\nEnsuring that safety interventions are completed & registered.\nCarry out regular site audits and inspection, document results and follow up on any corrective actions.\nMaintain records of statutory inspections make available for project activities, tool and plant.\nAdopt a Proactive approach to project EHS requirements.\nAbility to work either independently or as part of a team.\nEnsure project sub-contractors adhere to project & group EHS policies & procedures.\nEnsure that Winthrop Technologies induction & training is coordinated, managed & maintained.\nCompile & carry out Toolbox talks, as necessary\nAssist or carry out accident investigation reports in a timely manner & ensure communication to Winthrop Technologies project management.\nWelfare & Hygiene facilities are in place, managed & maintained.\nAttend Daily activity briefings and white board meetings\nWaste reduction and recycling programmes are maintained in line with project policies & procedures.\nSkills/ Qualifications:\nRelevant third level degree qualification in Health & Safety\n3+ years’ experience on large construction sites.\nThorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation\nFlexibility in working patterns where necessary.\nAbility to efficiently manage all environmental, health and safety issues on site.\nStrong communication & computer
