This position will be site-based in Lisbon, Portugal.\nWe are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical team. The Mechanical Engineer will oversee technical project delivery including reviewing tender documentation, selection of plant and materials and submittals, coordination of the services, and oversight of the production of coordinated drawings.\nResponsibilities\nManage relevant client communications\nDesign management\nCoordinate work with contractors to ensure services fit together\nPrepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities\nComplete all HVAC deliverables within a project and safety criteria\nCommunicate with project team to sequence installation of pipework to meet scheduled dates\nAssess and manage the project commercially to validate the project on handover from estimating, and proceed through to full technical procurement of all equipment, specialist sub-contractors and suppliers \nAssist with the management of the project installation works to ensure a consistent high standard of site works and manage the programme through to final commissioning and handover\nAssist with documenting and costing of changes to the work scopes and preparation of the monthly valuations and final account\nRequirements\n Previous experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential\n Design management experience is essential\n Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or similar\n Excellent organisation,
