If you are passionate about cloud technologies and eager to take on a challenging role with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, we would love to hear from you.\nOur Technology\nOperating in a cloud-first environment, we deploy containerised workloads to AWS through managed Kubernetes and scale on-demand to satisfy burstable workloads. Other managed services we use in AWS include EMR, RDS, MSK and bespoke EC2 solutions. All infrastructure is managed through Terraform, our source code is in GitHub and automation through GH actions. \nYour responsibilities will include:\nDesign, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure to support various business divisions.\nCollaborate with researchers and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions, with a keen eye on cost efficiency\nEnsure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud-based systems.\nAutomate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes to enhance operational efficiency.\nStay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices \nWhat we are looking for:\n2+ years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in AWS and Kubernetes.\nStrong belief in the ‘Infrastructure as code’ mind-set and a solid understanding of Terraform.\nExperience with CNCF technologies such as Argo CD, Kyverno and Prometheus.\nProficient with Grafana to monitor and alert on critical systems\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. \nWhat Would Be Useful:\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect, CNCF certificate(s) or similar\nKnowledge of the Go Programming and understanding of Kubernetes operators\nNatural curiosity and enthusiastic about using AI-assisted development tools and integrating them into daily workflow\nExperience of automation through GitHub Actions or similar \nEqual Opportunity Workplace\nWe are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
