We are rated a Top Workplace by the Chicago Tribune (past 10 years) and Employee Recommended award by the Globe & Mail (past 6 years)\nCompetitive pay and discretionary or incentive bonus eligible\nFamily-friendly work hours\nWith 175+ community bank locations, we offer opportunities to grow and develop in your career.\nPromote from within culture.\nWhy join this team?\nWe have a culture that encourages an entrepreneurial spirit.\nWe offer multiple opportunities for development and upward mobility.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nAs a Closer, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nConfirms scheduling information (time, location) with the Title or Escrow Company and internal Closing calendar when information is received.\nVerifies accuracy and consistency of documents by performing an audit of the file checking for any discrepancies while preparing closing package.\nCompletes a minimum of 50 closing packages monthly.\nFunds the loan in compliance with investor guidelines as well as meeting all at-closing conditions to assist investor delivery for the third-party sale of the loan.\nAdditional Responsibilities assigned include:\nReviews Closing Disclosure for accuracy and completeness.\nRequests wire from the warehouse line.\nForwards the Closing Disclosure to the consumer, processor and loan officer/assistant in one of the 3 approved delivery methods.\nCommunicates with the title/escrow company prior to the consummation and/or during the signing if necessary.\nAuthorizes funding to Title/Escrow Agents\n\nQualifications:\nHigh School or equivalent degree.\n3 - 5 years of Mortgage Lending/Closing experience, as well as Financial Software, Customer Service and communication skills.\nThorough knowledge and understanding of TRID, TILA and RESPA Guidelines. (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA/VA)\nExperience and extensive knowledge of TRID guidelines\nKnowledge of State Bond Programs a plus\nAbility to work in a “fast paced” environment\nGood organizational, written and telephone skills.\nGreat work ethic\nCustomer service oriented\nCompensation:\nThe hourly range for this role is $20.20 - $26.44 per hour.
