Position Overview
The Senior IT Business Analyst serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, and technology partners, helping translate business needs into functional and technical requirements that support successful technology solutions. This role will have a strong focus on the Salesforce CRM platform and nCino Loan Origination System within an Agile environment.
The Senior IT Business Analyst will partner closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, define and manage requirements, create and maintain user stories, and support solutions throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The position requires strong communication, relationship management, project management, and analytical skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and provide leadership within a cross-functional Scrum team.
What You’ll Do
Partner with business, product, and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
Create, refine, prioritize, and manage JIRA user stories throughout the SDLC while following Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Support Salesforce and nCino initiatives, including workflow and process enhancements, requirements definition, testing, implementation, and ongoing improvements.
Participate in daily standups, backlog refinement sessions, sprint retrospectives, testing activities, and other Scrum team ceremonies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, proactively communicate project status and roadblocks, and effectively manage expectations.
Coordinate multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Provide leadership within the Business Analyst team by helping coordinate work, supporting other BAs, identifying process improvements, and contributing to the continued development of team practices.
Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in a financial services environment with an emphasis on coordinating business, functional, and technical requirements and/or managing initiatives across large, cross-functional teams, programs, or projects.
3+ years of experience working with the Salesforce CRM platform.
3+ years of experience working with the nCino Loan Origination System.
3+ years of experience with JIRA and demonstrated experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment, including creating and managing user stories throughout the SDLC.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, facilitation, organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Advanced knowledge of IT and business operations; experience with tools such as Confluence, Microsoft 365, Visio, and/or Azure DevOps preferred.
Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, and/or Scrum Master Certifications, a plus.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000.00 - $110,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
