Position Overview:
The Product Owner will be responsible for helping ensure the competitiveness of Wintrust’s international trade products and services, driving the execution of identified strategic initiatives forward.This includes responsibility for the development and implementation of new products and projects assigned, working closely with internal team members and external vendors.The Product Owner is expected to have a solid understanding of the competitive landscape related to pricing, functionality and the competitive advantages of products managed.
What you’ll do:
Serve as subject matter expert for products assigned, supporting internal teams and external customers.
Manage projects as assigned managing through matrixed resources to deliver results on schedule.
Provide/recommend/identify new product opportunities and product enhancements.
Review existing procedures, processes, and problems and recommend where automation or improvement processes can be implemented.
Resolves non-routine problems with specialized knowledge.
Demonstrates considerable judgment in selecting methods.
Applies comprehensive concepts within field.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related area strongly preferred but not required.
5+ years related work experience in banking product management.
Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and the capacity to work under pressure.

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this role is $98,000 - $132,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
