As Director of FP&A, reporting to the CFO, you will own how Corel plans, forecasts and explains its topline. You will run the weekly billings forecast, build the annual operating plan by product, and turn product and sales data into clear recommendations for the executive team, the Board and our private-equity sponsor.\n\nThis is a hands-on leadership role. You will set direction, own the revenue model, and still roll up your sleeves to rebuild a forecast or reconcile a number when it matters.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nBoard & executive reporting\n\nPrepare the topline and KPI sections of the monthly operating review and quarterly Board materials.\n\nBuild and maintain a product-level KPI scorecard: a trimmed view for monthly reviews and a detailed view for the Board.\n\nLead variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year, with clear explanations of what drove each gap.\n\nRespond to CFO, Board and sponsor requests quickly and accurately.\n\nPlanning systems & data\n\nLead FP&A's side of planning system work (currently Planful): requirements, data validation, revenue and allocation models, and user training.\n\nWork with Data and IT to bring Snowflake and NetSuite data into planning and reporting, with clean, reconciled feeds.\n\nReplace manual spreadsheets with repeatable, automated reporting.\n\nDocument models, planning calendars and controls so knowledge doesn't sit with one person.\n\nBusiness partnership\n\nAct as the finance partner to Sales, Marketing and product leaders, joining their reviews and challenging assumptions.\n\nSupport investment cases for marketing campaigns, product launches and headcount, with ROI and payback analysis.\n\nPartner with Accounting on close timing, revenue recognition (ASC 606) and accrual accuracy.\n\nTeam & leadership\n\nStart as a senior individual contributor, with the option to lead up to two analysts as the function grows.\n\nBuild backup coverage for critical models and processes.\n\nSupport ad-hoc projects such as audits, financing, costprogramsand M&A.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nRequired\n\n10+ years in FP&A, sales finance or corporate finance, with experience managing or mentoring analysts.\n\nExperience in software, SaaS or subscription businesses, with direct ownership of billings or revenue forecasting and topline KPIs.\n\nProven, hands-on experience using Claude or similar AI assistants (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) in daily finance work, not just casual use.\n\nA track record of building AI-assisted workflows thatsavedreal time or improved quality. Be ready to show 2–3 examples.\n\nGood judgment on AI limits: you check outputs, tie them back to source and know when not to use AI.\n\nExpert financial modelling in Excel; comfortable with large, linked, driver-based models.\n\nStrong grasp of billings vs. revenue, deferred revenue and software revenue recognition (ASC 606).\n\nClear written and spoken communication, including presenting to executives and Boards.\n\nBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.\n\nPreferred\n\nExperience with NetSuite (ERP), including GL structure, saved searches and reporting.\n\nExperience with Snowflake, including writing SQL to pull and join billings, customer and product data.\n\nAdvanced Claude use: Projects, connectors, skills, artifacts or Claude in Excel, or the Claude API.\n\nLight scripting (Python or similar) to automate data prep and reporting.\n\nExperience leading AI adoption or training for a finance team.\n\nExperience implementing or administering a planning tool (Planful, Adaptive, Anaplan or similar).\n\nBI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.\n\nExperience in a private-equity-backed company, including sponsor and lender reporting.\n\nMulti-product, multi-currency, multi-channel businesses (direct, e-commerce, reseller).\n\nCPA,CFAor MBA.\n\nWhy Corel\n\nWe have millions of users and decades of innovation under our belts.\n\nWe’re fully remote and work from any where and we mean it.
