public holidays working as required\nInstall fibre cables on access and core routes according to best practices and standards\nCommission fibre spans and end to end fibre circuits through use of OTDR and OLTS\nAttend to fibre breakdown and preventative maintenance\nLiaise with internal Project Managers and 3rd part suppliers for the execution of the designed plans\nAssist with management & planning of overall fibre network, including auditing and record management\nIncident and problem resolution as directed by NOC / TAC / NMC\nWork with and assist to manage contractors and vendors\nAssist service managers as directed, including clients and supplier meetings\nAssist with technical shareholder support / shareholder consultancy and sales support\nAssist with network quality and performance management\nCreation of ad hoc reports as needed\nDrive company vehicles as required, travel as required including to Africa, EU, UK\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMatric (or equivalent school-leaving certificate), including Mathematics and English\nDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (desirable)\nTechnical certifications in CCNA, Cisco, MikroTik and Fiber Optic (desirable)\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nValid driver’s license\nExperience & Skills\nRequires minimum of 3 year’s technical experience in telecom industry\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to follow instructions\nAbility to use systems effectively to record information accurately, concisely and in a timely manner\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment\nExperience using tools and test equipment,
