Objective: To support field operations by assisting in incident resolution and problem management, as well as installing, maintaining, and managing network and facilities equipment for WIOCC Group companies and clients.\nReporting Line: Regional Operations Manager\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\nProvide 24/7 field support, including on-call duties and work outside normal hours (nights, weekends, and public holidays) as required\nConduct proactive monitoring of network equipment and facilities\nAssist with network installation, testing, commissioning, integration, and bringing services into operation\nPerform cross-connects and patching (“jumping”) activities\nMaintain accurate records, inventory, and spares management\nSupport the receipt of equipment, including bench testing, storage, and handling of RMA returns\nAssist with incident and problem resolution as directed by NOC and TAC teams\nProvide Service Desk support as required\nSupport Service Managers in operational activities as directed\nAssist with technical shareholder support, consultancy, and sales support initiatives\nContribute to network quality and performance monitoring\nAssist in the preparation of ad hoc reports as required\nProvide support to other departments and projects as requested by the Programme Manager\nDrive company vehicles as required\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMatric (or equivalent school-leaving certificate), including Mathematics and English\nDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (desirable)\nTechnical certifications in CCNA, Cisco, MikroTik and Fiber Optic (desirable)\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nValid driver’s license\nExperience and Skills\n2+ years of relevant work experience in telecom industry\nWorking knowledge of ducts, fibre infrastructure, build methodologies, splice enclosures, patch panels, OSP and ISP environments\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to follow instructions effectively\nProficiency in using systems to capture and maintain accurate records in a timely manner\nProven ability to manage
