IT & Systems Engineer (Frontend Developer) designing, developing, and maintaining scalable React-based web applications, requiring a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT with 3+ years experience in UX design and development focusing on React.js, in a technology environment, on-site role.\n\nJob Objective:\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable React-based web applications, collaborating with designers and backend developers to deliver intuitive user interfaces and enhance user experience.\n\nReporting Line: IT Development Manager\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\n\nDesign, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance React-based web applications\n\nCollaborate with other designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to create visually stunning, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces\n\nEnsure seamless integration of UI components with APIs and back-end systems\n\nOptimize applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility\n\nImplement and advocate for modern UI/UX best practices, responsive design, and interactive animations\n\nConduct code peer reviews, contribute to the development of in-house libraries, and promote technical excellence\n\nMaintain comprehensive documentation for UI components, including structure, functionality, integrations, testing strategies, libraries, versioning, and troubleshooting guidelines to support onboarding and system handover\n\nStay up to date with industry trends, emerging UI technologies, and design innovations\n\nMaintain high standards of code quality, reusability, and maintainability\n\nIdentify opportunities and champion business process improvements and automations\n\nCompile and assess user feedback to recommend software products and improve system performance\n\nCollaborate with team members to schedule, plan, control and implement the software release process, windows, and cycles\n\nReport on weekly scrums on progress towards tasks, milestone status, and barriers needing attention\n\nAid and support the coaching and training of end users to ensure they are confident in the use of software applications\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, UI/UX Design,, Information Technology or a related field from a recognized university\n\nExperience and Skills\n\nCandidates with a strong UI design portfolio will be highly preferred.
