For additional information, visit us at www.wipro.com.Role Summary\nThe B1 VMD Process Associate is responsible for executing Vendor Master Data and Accounts Payable support activities with high levels of accuracy, compliance, and productivity. The role requires processing vendor-related requests, validating supporting documentation, maintaining audit trails, and ensuring service levels are met.\nThe associate will work closely with teams located in Cebu and Chennai to ensure seamless service delivery, process standardization, and business continuity.\nVendor Master Data Processing\nProcess vendor creation, modification, activation, deactivation, and maintenance requests.\nValidate supporting documentation and approvals before processing requests.\nPerform duplicate checks and data validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.\nMaintain complete and accurate vendor records in accordance with process guidelines.\nWorkflow and Queue Management\nManage requests through GMB and workflow management tools.\nMonitor assigned queues and ensure timely completion of requests within SLA.\nPrioritize workload based on business requirements and urgency.\nComplete the daily allocation of assigned requests and provide an end-of-day status update on allocation completion to the B3 Lead.\nEscalate exceptions, delays, and process issues to the B3 Lead.\nCompliance and Controls\nAdhere to SOPs, desktop procedures, and process controls.\nEnsure compliance with audit, regulatory, and company requirements.\nMaintain complete supporting documentation and audit evidence.\nFollow maker-checker and approval controls as defined by the process.\nQuality and Continuous Improvement\nParticipate in quality reviews and corrective actions.\nSupport process improvement initiatives.\nIdentify root causes of errors and recommend preventive measures.\nContribute to knowledge management and process documentation.\nCollaboration and Communication\nWork closely with Cebu and Chennai delivery teams.\nParticipate in team meetings, training sessions, and operational reviews.\nCommunicate effectively with internal stakeholders and business users.\nProvide timely updates on process issues, risks, and operational metrics.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field\n4 to 5 years of experience in Vendor Master Data (VMD) and/or Accounts Payable processes\nExperience with ERP systems and vendor management processes\nExposure to process transitions and stabilization activities\nExperience working in a BPO or Shared Services environment.\nHands-on experience using GMB and workflow management tools.\nExperience handling high-volume transaction processing environments.\nExperience working with SLA, productivity, and quality targets.\nMandatory Skills: Procurement(MDM).Experience: 1-3 Years\n.Reinvent your world.
